About Tricia

I am a teacher, spiritual medium, and intuitive with a professional background in secondary education and the healing arts. Through one-on-one sessions and classes, I teach people about their innate intuitive abilities and ways to access their wisdom. As a medium, I support people who are grieving the loss of a loved one by acting as a link with spirit and conveying messages of hope and healing. As an intuitive, I help clients get clarity around their questions through coaching, insight, and guidance. My goal is to help empower my clients and students to access more peace and ease within themselves. Every session and class with me is an opportunity to step into the mystery together.

My background includes a master’s degree in education, ten years of teaching high school English and creative writing, and extensive work in staff development, teacher mentoring, and educational coaching. I completed Reiki Master Training (Usui Reiki Ryoho) and gave Reiki treatments to staff in a military hospital as a form of volunteer service. I recently completed a year-long course of study in the Tao of Trauma with Alaine Duncan, a method of talk and body work that connects trauma-informed practices with polyvagal theory and the five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a spiritual medium?

A spiritual medium is a person who has the ability, sensitivity, and awareness to perceive and decipher messages from the spiritual world and convey them in the physical world. A medium acts as a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds to promote healing.

What are the five elements?

The five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine include water, wood, fire, earth, and metal. They serve as a paradigm for understanding the human energetic system. Each element has certain aspects that relate to parts of who we are. By tapping into these elements through a Five Element Alignment session, we can release what is no longer needed from our system while increasing awareness of our strengths and abilities.

How did you become a healing arts practitioner?

While in college, I attended training to become a domestic violence program volunteer, visiting with domestic violence survivors onsite after an arrest was made. Because of the intensity of the volunteer work, the training included self-care strategies. A presenter shared the idea that every person has their own energetic system and that we can intentionally create shifts to make ourselves feel better. This was an incredible learning for me and set me on a path to study various healing modalities while pursuing a traditional career in education. Eventually, I found the modalities that were the best fit for me to be of service to others and opened my own practice. My background in teaching and training makes me uniquely equipped to convey information in an accessible and relatable way; I am able to bridge esoteric, metaphysical concepts with real-world language and meaning.
